Explorer Spring Upgrade

Putting the stock springs from a 91-94 4 door Ford Explorer gives a Bronco II a 1.5" lift, as well as firming up the ride from the Explorer springs stiffer spring rate.

Before and after:

The B2 spring has more free arch, but is softer and practically goes flat under the rig.

All you have to do to the rear Ex springs is flip the spring centering bolt 180 deg so that the centering "nub" is on the bottom side of the leaf. It's on the top side as installed in the Explorer. You will also want to grab the spring eye bolts from the explorer you get the springs from. The B2 rear eye bolt won't work with the Ex spring.
