Homemade V8 Motor Mounts

Ok I brought my home made motor mounts in this morning and traced them out and added measurements. I can't guarantee these will work for you but they do for me. With a 3" body lift the valve cover just slipped under the air box without trimming it but I trimmed it now so that I can remove the valve cover if I need to. The Passenger side is shaped like that because my oil pressure sending unit is going right by where that plate bolts to the motor in the front and the headers I have (Hedman Hedders for the swap) have to clear in the back. These just bolt to your block and then sit on the stock V6 mounts on your crossmember and tighten the nut down and you're done. The first ones I made were a template and had slots in them where the stud and alignment pin from the motor mount comes through, I got the motor where I wanted it and marked in the slots where the stud and pin where and then used that as a guide to make these ones with holes for the stud and pin. You can always make them like this and only slot them if you need to adjust your motor, then make another set. If you blow this picture up to scale and print it then you can just trace right from it. All you need is a 1/4" x 4" piece of flat stock that's 18" long a drill and an angle grinder or metal cutting blade on a table saw.

Edit: These are made to fit 2.8 mounts, 2.9 stock mounts have a different location for the pin and stud. Check in the V8 Club forum for pics of them installed.
